Robots have been visiting websites to "read emails" for a while now. That may be one of the reasons why you receive spam even if you have given your email address to virtually noone.

To get rid of this problem, you can either not use email (yeah right!) or make sure robots can't interpret you email address on your webpage.

The proof that this works is seen in my name below (Marc Arbour - the email is marc at "see-eye-two" dot ca, while the link title is my name). Click it and your mail client is going to open. Try finding my email address by viewing the source of this page... It is the best way I found, in my opinion, to get rid of email harvesting. Here's how to do it!
