We suggest you use Filezilla. It's free and it's open source. Read its installation procedure as well as usage instructions. Set the server name to ftp.SecuredHostingOnly.com

We have been told that CuteFTP works with our services, but you'll have to plunge your hand into your wallet.

Note: no quick connect feature will ever work, on any ftp software, for the simple fact that you need to activate the "FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/SSL" to connect. This option is not available in quick connect. You need to set it into Filezilla's site manager when adding your domain. This option's name may vary depending on the ftp client.

P.S.: If your account allows ssh login, skip installing an ftp client altogether and see the ssh section below. We suggest you use one software that does ssh AND sftp all at once. Faster, more practical and even more secured!

We suggest you use Thunderbird. It's free and it's open source too. Read more about it here.

We have been told that Microsoft Outlook works with our services, but you'll have to plunge your hand VERY DEEP into your wallet.

Note: When adding the email account to Thunderbird and setting the server name to mail.SecuredHostingOnly.com, just check the SSL radio button and you're set. Do not forget to always put your complete email address when prompted for your user's account.

We suggest you use Tunnelier from Bitvise. It's free for personnal use but is not open source. It also has a portable version. It has many interesting features like auto-login and auto-reconnect. Plus, it will remember all your settings from one session to another. It allows you to sftp without any other software.

We know that SecureCRT (not free), Putty (free) and SSHWindows (free) work just fine.

Note: Only download and use these if your account allows it to. Failling to respect this will get your IP address banned or your account terminated (see our terms and conditions).

Softwares not mentionned herein may not work flawlessly with our servers. We do not support locally installed softwares.
